What Is the Web Reader?
The Web Reader lets you open and read your PDF books online. It’s a simple way to access your content from any device using just your browser.
To open a book in your browser, you must be logged in with your Snapplify account and ensure you are online.
How to Use It
You can open the Web Reader from:
1. Engage
Go to My Reading in Engage, find your book, and select Read.
2. Your Account Library
Visit accounts.snapplify.com, go to the My Books tab, and simply click on the book cover of any PDF you want to read.
What Happens When You Select a Book
When you select a book to read:
| Scenario | What You’ll See |
|---|---|
| Book supports Web Reader | You'll be asked whether you'd like to open it in your browser or in the Snapplify Reader app. |
| Book does NOT support Web Reader | You'll be prompted to open the book in the Snapplify Reader app. |
Choosing the browser option will open the PDF in the Web Reader immediately — no need to install anything.
Things to Know
What to Expect | Details |
| Supports PDFs Only | At the moment, only PDF content is available in the Web Reader. EPUBs are not supported. |
| First Load May Be Slow | The first time you open a PDF, it may take up to 30 seconds to load. After that, it loads faster. |
