If your school is using Scholastic Literacy Pro and you’ve completed the LitPro Test, your Lexile level will be imported to Engage and displayed as your reading level. However, if your school isn’t using Literacy Pro and you know what your reading level is, you are able to update this value manually.  




To update your reading level in Engage:

  1. Once you’ve logged in to Engage, click your user icon, then click your name in the drop-down menu.
  2. Your user details displays. In the Reading Level section, click the ‘Update Reading Levels’ button.
  3. A pop-up screen opens. From here, you’ll be able to add your Lexile level in the ‘Lexile Level’ field.
     

    You’ll only need to add a value in the ‘Level’ textbox, not the ‘Code’ textbox.

  4. Click ‘Save’ to update your reading level.



Once you’ve updated your lexile level, you can start searching for books that match your reading level.
