Your mobile device should automatically connect to an available Snappbox on your network. If it doesn't do that, do not panic! You can manually connect to a preferred Snappbox using the Snappbox address or host-name.
This may look slightly different, so be sure to follow the directions for the device you're using.
Android & Chrome OS
- Open the Snapplify Reader on your device.
- Tap on the three horizontal lines.
- Scroll down and tap on ‘Settings’.
- Under the ‘Manual Snappbox’ section, tap on ‘Tap to add your own Snappbox IP’.
- You will then be prompted to add the IP address of the Snappbox. Enter the IP address and tap ‘OK’.
iOS
- Open the iOS settings on your device.
- Scroll down to the Snapplify Reader app and tap on it.
- Tap on the blank space beneath ‘MANUAL SNAPPBOX’.
- Enter the IP address or hostname of the Snappbox.
Windows and macOS
- Open the Snapplify Reader on your device.
- Click on the cog/gear icon.
- Click on the Snappbox setting.
- Under the ‘Manual’ section, there will be the option to enter the Snappbox IP address. Enter the Snappbox IP address and click on ‘Find Snappbox’.
