Before you purchase a selection of library books, you may want to review the total cost, or you may even need an official quotation from Snapplify for your institution’s budget approval process. 


You can do this easily in Engage using Library Lists by:

  1. Creating your library list
  2. Adding books to the list
  3. Generating a quote


Creating a library list

To create your library list so that you can begin adding titles to it:

  1. Log in to Engage and navigate to the library by clicking 'Library' at the top of your screen.
  2. In the Librarian section of your dashboard on the left-hand side of your screen, select 'Library Lists'.
  3. On the Library Lists page, click the ‘New List’ button at the top of your screen.  
  4. On the next page, enter a label for your list and click ‘Save’.


Adding titles to a library list

To add titles to a library list in Engage:

  1. On the Library Lists page, locate the relevant list and click its name.
  2. On the specific library list page, click the ‘+Add Library Title’ button (towards the top of the screen) to view a list of library books.
  3. Browse the library – or use the search bar at the top of your screen to find something specific. To refine your search, or to find more search options, click 'Advanced' (next to the search bar). Once you've typed in your search details, click 'Search' or hit 'Enter' on your keyboard.
  4. Add titles to the library list by selecting the green + symbol next to each book and clicking 'Yes' when asked if you want to add the selected title.
  5. When you're finished adding titles to your library list, navigate back to your library list page by clicking the title of your list at the top left-hand corner of your screen, or clicking the 'Back' button in your browser. Alternatively, navigate to 'Library Lists' and click the title of your specific prescribed list.
  6. On your prescribed list page, you will now be able to see all the titles you have added.


Generating a quotation for a library list

To create a quote for your institution’s purchasing approval process:

  1. On the Library Lists page, locate the relevant list and click its name.
  2. On the specific library list page, click the blue printer icon towards the top right-hand corner of your screen.
  3. On the pop-up page, you will be able to print a hard copy by selecting your printer, or choose to save the quote as a PDF file to share digitally.
