This article is for ANYONE USING SNAPPLIFY. 


If you have an Apple ID, you can use that account to log in to the Snapplify Reader app, Snapplify Engage, or Teacha! Resources. This makes signing in as simple as clicking a button.


Using your Apple ID means that you use the email address and password for that account to log in, without first having to create a new account with Snapplify. This saves you time, and makes it easier for you to get started with Snapplify quickly.


  • You can also use your Google account or Microsoft account to log in to our platforms.
  • If you don't already have a Google account, Microsoft account, or Apple ID, or if you are using an alternative email system (like Groupwise, for example) you can still use Snapplify. This just means you will need to register a new Snapplify account and sign in using that username and password.


For Snapplify Engage

To sign in to your account using your Apple ID:

  1. Select the 'Sign in' option in the top right corner of the Engage home page.
  2. Then select the 'Sign in with Apple ID' option.
  3. Enter your Apple ID details and select the arrow icon to continue, then insert your password and select the next arrow icon to continue. On iOS, if you are already logged in to your Apple account, you can simply follow the prompts to create an account for Snapplify using your Apple ID.
  4. If you have Two-Factor Authentication enabled, a message with a verification code will be sent to your devices. Enter the code to continue.
  5. When asked if you want to continue using Snapplify with your Apple ID, select ‘Continue’.
  6. On the next page, click 'Let's Go' to complete the sign-in process.

For the Snapplify Reader app

To sign in to your account using your Apple ID on mobile:

  1. First, launch the Snapplify Reader app on your device.
  2. Select the 'Sign in with Apple' button.
  3. Enter your account details and follow the prompts to continue. On iOS, if you are already logged in to your Apple account, you can simply follow the prompts to sign in to Snapplify with your Apple ID.
  4. Click 'Let's Go' to complete the sign-in process.

To sign in to your account using your Apple ID on desktop:

  1. First, launch the Snapplify Reader app on your device.
  2. Select the Apple icon to indicate that you want to sign in with Apple.
  3. In the pop-up block, enter your Apple ID details and select the arrow icon to continue, then insert your password and select the next arrow icon to continue. 
  4. If you have Two-Factor Authentication enabled, a message with a verification code will be sent to your devices. Enter the code to continue.
  5. When asked if you want to continue using Snapplify with your Apple ID, select ‘Continue’.
  6. Click 'Let's Go' to complete the sign-in process.

For Teacha!

To sign in to the Teacha! resource marketplace using your Apple ID:

  1. Visit teachingresources.co.za.
  2. In the menu bar at the top of the screen, hover over the user icon. From the drop-down menu, select ‘Log In’.

  3. On the next page, select the 'Sign in with Apple ID' option.
  4. Enter your Apple ID details and select the arrow icon to continue, then insert your password and select the next arrow icon to continue. On iOS, if you are already logged in to your Apple account, you can simply follow the prompts to create an account for Snapplify using your Apple ID.
  5. If you have Two-Factor Authentication enabled, a message with a verification code will be sent to your devices. Enter the code to continue.
  6. When asked if you want to continue using Snapplify with your Apple ID, select ‘Continue’.
  7. On the next page, click 'Let's Go' to complete the sign-in process.
