This article is for IT ADMINISTRATORS.

To give you peace of mind, you can run through the following tests to check that everything went well while installing your new Snappbox.

Testing internet connectivity

  1. Open a web browser and go to the IP found for the Snappbox (e.g.192.168.1.65).
  2. On the bottom right of the page, click on ‘Internet Connectivity’.
  3. Wait about a minute for the test to complete. If the Snappbox can't connect to the internet, email us at help@snapplify.com.

What should you look for?

  • An Orange result means that the Snappbox can't go online.
  • A Green result means that the Snappbox can go online.

Testing content downloads

  1. Open the Snapplify Reader application and sign in with your account details.
  2. Click on the menu button and select the option for ‘Snappbox’. This will display the Snappbox’s IP address. Verify that this is the same as the IP address which was picked up by the network.
  3. Download your content. If the Snappbox is not populated with content, it will first pull the content down to the Snappbox from the internet. The initial download of a book to the Snappbox may take a while depending on the file size of the download.
  4. Once the content is downloaded to your device, open it in the Snapplify Reader and ensure that all is working as required.
  5. To verify that the book was downloaded to the Snappbox, open the Snapplify Reader on a different device and download the same book. You will instantly notice the difference in download speed. ⚡
